Oregon Renaissance Band: O’ Carolan’s Harp

Two Performances: Saturday December 29th, 2018 at 7:30pm AND Sunday December 30th, 2018 at 3:00pm, both at the Community Music Center, 3350 SE Francis, Portland.

“O’Carolan’s Harp” An Early Celtic New Year with The Oregon Renaissance Band and special guests Laura Zaerr, harp and Dan Stueber, bodhran. Fifteen of the northwest’s finest renaissance musicians will play a new program featuring some of Turlough O’Carolan’s best loved works along with other favorites performed on a wide selection of early instruments including harp, violin, viols, recorders, sackbutts, bagpipes, shawms, krummhorns, racketts, tartold, and percussion.
