Heart of the Valley Harp Retreat

Sunita and Laura team up for a dynamic  and varied week-end of workshops.  Bring beauty into your arpeggios with conscious phrasing.  Learn tunes from the northern most tip of the Shetland Islands.  Improvise on ancient and modern melodies with Cellist Sabine Monn.   Learn about phrasing of Gaelic songs.  Experiment with back-ground and fore-ground textures.  Tour the world famous Thormahlen harp workshop and studio.  Harp ensemble.  Harp yoga.  Harp circle.  Raffle.  Join other area harpists in a community of like-minded souls.  Sunita and Laura team up for a concert open to the public on Sunday afternoon.  Corvallis Oregon is truly blessed with a convergence of talent and beautiful late summer weather. The retreat fee includes all workshops, concert,  snacks on Friday, lunch on Saturday and Sunday.  Other meals and lodgings will be on your own.  We generally go out as a group to a local restaurant on Saturday evening.  Register here.
