More Information
This gentle arrangement of the traditional Scottish tune Tàladh cailin an ghuilt òr-bhuidhe (Lullaby of the Red-haired Girl) is for three lever or pedal harps. This song is one of few that survived the downfall of the musical people from the island of St. Kilda. This lyrical setting uses harmonics and glissandi to evoke the isolation and haunting beauty of St. Kilda. Harp parts 1-2 are suitable for intermediate players while Harp part 3 is suitable for a beginning player.
