Laura Zaerr offers this ensemble version of her original work, “River Right Rhumba,” arranged here for three pedal or lever harps. This rhythmic study was inspired by a kayaking trip on the North Umpqua River in Southern Oregon. The three repeating rhythmic patterns come directly from a West African drumming pattern from Guinea, the African Rhumba.
